Dancing Group
Establishing in 1980, Salma Dancing Group works
to promote and develop oriental folk dance. The
group performs for a variety of audiences and
is currently developing a variety of shows for
audiences of different age groups.
Goals
Developing
oriental dance and promoting it to the widest
possible audience in the country and beyond.
Main
Activities
- Three
dance troupes, composed of 60 members in Haifa
divided on the basis of age and experience. Ages
in the groups range from ages nine to thirty.

Dance training for youth;

Theatre dance performances for the elderly and
children, including Houdh al-Na'na' and Najar
al-Hakim;

Participation in social events;

Establishment for a school for dance;

Promotion of traditional dance through a variety
of forums, including dance instruction and theater
performance;

Performing a variety of shows for audiences of
different age groups
