Goals

• Advancing education and cultrual expression;
• Advancing the status of women;
• Promoting co-existence and tolerance;
• Encouraging environmental awareness and preserving environmental quality;
• Organizing youth in villages and surrounding areas.

Main Activities

• Regular after-school lessons and seminars for academically weak students together with special summer camps for English language study. These courses also include preparation for matriculation exams;
• The establishment of a local Women's council and the facilitation of various workshops to encourage and strengthen women's community leadership;
• The establishment of a special project called "Common Roots" which brings together Jews and Arabs in the region. Participants include high school students from Kibbutz Ein Dor and Kibbutz Gazit. Joint activities and workshops promote a better understanding of the ocmmon roots of the two peoples in an atmosphere of tolerance and mutual appreciation;
• The organization of an environmental quality preservation program which brings together over 50 youth volunteers who investigate the environment and gathering materials for making resolutions and developing new activities.
