About the Karama al-Thaqafiyya Association

Established in 2000, the Association work to encourage cultural and intellectual activities, to celebrate and revive the rememberance of various important Palestinian national days, and also presides over the National Aid committee.

Goals

• Developing cultural and academic-intellectual awareness
• Revival of culture
• Humanitarian aid to local people in need, and also to the West Bank and Gaza Strip

Main Activities

• Establishing and running pre-schools and kindergartens;
• Training programs and courses for pre-school and kindergarten teachers;
• Children’s library;
• Early childhood network in the Naqab;
• Children and youth camps;
• Networking within communities on local and national levels, to imporive educational training systems in the Naqab, particularly at a pre-school level;
• Naqab Weaving Program
• Developing a computer training center
